MEMPHIS 1921

This small book of Memphis photos was published in 1921 by E. H. Clarke & Bro.* a Memphis company that has been doing business in the city since 1897.  It was obviously intended to be sold as a souvenir of Memphis.  But what makes it rather special is that this rare copy was purchased from a vendor in France.  Wouldn't it be interesting to know the story of how it got there?

Thanks to Dave French for lending the book and to Maureen Thoni White for scanning the book.
