Newcomer'S Guide 1930

...  A Handbook for Newcomers to Memphis

This unique 1930 book was published by the Business Men of Memphis as a "Welcome to newcomer's".  The guide book sections are similar to other small books published by the Chamber of Commerce for city visitors with emphasis on the city's attractions and landmarks.  But this handbook also includes a large section on city laws that any newcomer should know.  The cost of publishing the book was possible due to contributions from the advertising pages.

Thanks to Woody Savage for allowing us to post his 1930 book on this website.
