In
1950, Miss Louise Durham was sent to Christine School as principal
and she fell under the spell of the old building with large rooms,
wide halls, and the handmade brick. In 1952, while looking up
the history of the school, Mrs. A. L. Jacobs found that 1952 was the
80th anniversary of the old school. She told Mrs. John T.
Brinkley, President of the PTA, who seized upon the fact ... and
this Anniversary idea was born: |
