Below are Memphis Directories showing that the MEMPHIS HIGH SCHOOL name appears in the 1911 directory but no longer appears in preceding Directories. The Memphis High School name ceases to be used after 1911. The Yellow section shows where the name should be listed. The directories are available at the Memphis Library and they're on microfiche, which explains the poor quality of these scans. |
